STEM Career Project (Tuesday, 01.22.19-Wednesday 01.23.19)

ALL MIDDLE SCHOOL CLASSES: two part assignment, MAKE SURE YOU COMPLETE PART 1 AND PART 2

You will be conducting research on a STEM Career of your choice from the list below. You must use the chrome book to research and find the different components listed below as related to your STEM Career. You will be presenting your information in class for an additional 25 points. See the rubric below.

Pick ONE STEM CAREER that you will do your project on over the next two days. It must come from the list on the website.

Use the tabs at the left to click through different details about your career to answer the following questions below INSIDE YOUR NOTEBOOK.

2.       What are of STEM (science, technology, engineering, Math) does your career fall under? If it falls in multiple areas, you must list all applicable areas.

5.       What are helpful high school courses for this job? (List 5)

6.       What kind of work experience and training requirements are necessary for this job?

You must use a white sheet of paper to create a mini-poster to represent your job. Here is an example on the next page.

Each question is 5 points. 17 x 5 = 85 points

Presentation upon my return = 25 points

Part 2 Poster: 40 points
